Transcity invites you to HAVE YOUR SAY – Western Connection Urban Design

Transcity and BCC invite you to participate in providing feedback. From early 2015 Transcity will reinstate/improve the areas impacted by the construction of Legacy Way at the western connection here in Toowong.

The five key areas are:

1.    Brisbane Botanic Gardens Landscape Plan.

2.    Extension of the shared user path on the southern side of Mt Coot-tha Road.

3.    Ada Street Car Park (Also known as Ada Park Car Park, Botanic Gardens Overflow Car Park).

4.    Dean and Miskin Street shared user path network (BCC said that there will be no impact on ANZAC Park).

5.    Vegetation along the Western Freeway.

There will be two community information sessions:

Date:  Thursday 29 November

Location:  Brisbane Botanic Gardens auditorium
Mt Coot-tha Road, Toowong
Time:  6-8pm

Date:  Saturday 8 December

Location:  Legacy Way Visitors’ Centre
Level 2, 80 Jephson Street, Toowong
Time:  9am-12noon
