If you've been wondering what the tall structure might be, which is now appearing on the western worksite, it's the start of the temporary acoustic shed. The biggest Colorbond 'wilderness green' shed in the history of Toowong - 89m long by 77m wide with a 29m eave height and will be in operation from Feb/March 2012. It's designed to provide additional noise mitigation during tunnelling activities.
