Tunnel noise not on: Ombudsman
The state government has failed to protect residents in Brisbane’s northern suburbs from excessive noise during the construction of the Airport Link Tunnel, the Queensland Ombudsman has found.
Ombudsman Phil Clarke today tabled his report, The Airport Link Project: An Investigation Into Complaints About Night-Time Surface Work, in State Parliament.
Mr Clarke said there were inadequate guidelines for noise on the project, run by Thiess John Holland, and that existing ones were poorly policed amid confusion over which government agency was responsible. Read the full story HERE

ANZAC Park is opposite the Toowong Cemetery and opposite the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt Coot-tha, which is linked by the Toowong Bike and Pedestrian Overpass.
